Happy Tech Tuesday! This week, we go over FortiClient VPN for Wheeler.

By using FortiClient VPN to connect remotely to the Wheeler domain, employees can access the resources you need without compromising security, as it helps maintain a high level of privacy and integrity for data transmission. Failure to protect client data with FortiClient VPN could result in serious consequences, including data breaches, loss of intellectual property, and damage to the company's reputation, ultimately leading to financial losses and potential legal liabilities.

Connecting to Wheeler VPN

To access to the Wheeler network remotely properly and securely, follow these steps to connect to the Wheeler VPN.

1. Connect to Wheeler VPN:
   1. Expand the taskbar by clicking the up arrow.
   2. Right-click the green FortiClient VPN client icon.
   3. Click Connect to “WCPA VPN”.
      
2. On the FortiClient VPN client main screen:
   1. Enter your Wheeler email address.
   2. Enter your Wheeler password.
   3. Click Connect to connect to Wheeler VPN.
      

1. You will receive a Duo notification on your phone. You must approve the notification to complete the VPN authentication.
   
2. Once you approve the notification, you will be connected to the Wheeler network.
