Happy Thursday! Today, we will go over: Disabling TeamMate Analytics

 

Most of you will not be using TeamMate Analytics. Unfortunately, the default for the Excel add-in is to be enabled. This document will walk you through disabling TeamMate Analytics from within Excel in the Cloud. The process is straightforward and easy to accomplish in just a few steps. If you read through this and decide that you would rather have IT handle this, please reach out to helpdesk@wheelercpa.com to arrange for IT to disable it for you.

Disabling TeamMate Analytics

  1. Open Excel from Citrix Workspace.
  2. When the TeamMate Analytics license window pops up, click Cancel to close it.
  3. Excel will open as normal. Click Options in the lower left to open the Excel Options window.
  4. In the Excel Options window, click the Add-ins tab on the left.
  5.  To locate TeamMate Analytics in the correct add-ins location:
    1. Click the dropdown menu for Manage.
    2. Select “Com Add-ins”.
    3. Click Go.
  6. When the COM Add-ins window appears:
    1. Scroll down to find the TeamMate Analytics add-in.
    2. De-select the TeamMate Analytics add-in.
    3. Click OK to close the window.
  7. The TeamMate Analytics license window will no longer pop-up when running Excel. You may close the Excel window now.
